I am always looking for fun, local boutiques to shop in. Don't get me wrong, I love the mall (LOL), but it's nice to shop local and find different brands you wouldn't necessarily find in a department store. A friend of mine introduced me to a fantastic women's boutique in Montclair, NJ called Dot Reeder. The moment I stepped into the store, I knew it was going to be one of my new fave shopping destinations! They carry anything from dresses and tops to jeans and accessories! The store will dress you (very well) from head to toe!
How ridiculous is this photo? First of all, I can't believe that I actually got some "air" between me and the ground, but more so I cannot believe that I didn't hurt myself! Maybe should've played basketball!
I love these Alexander Wang khaki pants. They fit like a glove and I have nothing like them in my closet! Boutique shopping increases your chances of finding that one of a kind piece. This fitted Demylee NY tank works perfectly with the pants and many other things in my closet! I kept it simple with the accessories - nude platform sandals (similar), a Proenza Schouler tote and a Dennis Higgins Cuff.
Take a day trip to Montclair and have lunch (there are so many yummy places to eat!) and check out Dot Reeder - 129 Watchung Avenue - you will not be disappointed!
